Test God??

wahh! stress right. who so dai dam (big courage) to test God?? but there is but ONE verse in the bible that actually asks us to test God...

Malachi 3:10

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,
Says the Lord of hosts,
If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out to you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

wow. so i decided to "test God" as His word says,

"i've always been faithful with my tithes God... i've also taken up the Land Redemption Pledge in obedience to Your voice..."

and almost immediately after i said that prayer..

i received a note to collect a registered mail from the post office. but due to the horrendous, heat wave that bombarded poor Adelaide, i was quite reluctant to go collect it (although i was quite curious to find out what it was), to the extent that i was given a final warning to collect it otherwise it'll be sent back to the sender. so i dragged my feet to the post office this afternoon in the 38 deg sun *sweat*. got the envelope, opened it and guess what???

i won a AUD 50 cash voucher from jetstar!!! initially i thought it was for flights, but i don't really need it, but God knows better!!! it's a voucher that can be used at The Good Guys (an electrical appliances shop). you must be wondering why am i so excited over an electrical shop gift voucher??!! because.. my poor hands can now have a rest! i can now afford an electric mixer!!!!! :) yayayayayaya!!!!! but the question still lies in.. how did this all happen???

then i remember!! some time ago, i submitted my details through sms to jetstar after my flight to melbourne. but that was 6 months ago!!!! my name has been drawn in a 2nd Chance Prize Draw. c'mon tell me.. is that God or what?? He's the God of a 2nd chance! He came through for me. i know this is only the beginning of greater miracles ahead.

so put in your tithes and offerings, and see.. if He will open the windows of heaven for you! :)
