hello-i (in a very Australian accent) - Part 1

ask rahul how he does it, i intend to take australian slang tuition from him every night during dinner time.

anyway, i'm in adelaide!! the very fact that i'm here, is truly by God's grace! i actually passed my sem 5 exams!!!!! with grades that is obviously impossible for me to get. but yup, thks Chris, WH for reminding me that God specializes in the IMPOSSIBLE

1) because i started studying so late (december was a super busy month)
2) i had to worry about stuffs like visa, offer letter, letter of good conduct in the midst of my exams!
3) i skipped BS, embryology, some clinical notes altogether! can u imagine?!

so i really PRAISE God for that! and my miracle's just one of it. Chuen got her VISA on Monday itself!!! is that God or what?? SO here we are, 6 villagers happily in adelaide now :)

to those whom i didn't get a chance to inform, i deeply apologize, i flew on monday night 9.45pm. to those who came to send us off, thank you so much, i'm so touched. actually i told myself not to CRY already!! (because the whole of sunday dunno cry how many times -_-") but i couldn't help it. and to those who msged/called me, thank you soo much!! and the presents, they were really really nice.. i read the msges also i cry! now that i'm here already, it's all still trying to sink in that i'm actually no longer in malaysia, everything just happened so fast!

but yup, first day was REALLY REALLY hot. 40 deg celcius!!! and considering we just arrived, it was quite torturous! to register for our accomodation, university, and still buy groceries otherwise we'll be without dinner! and guess what happened on the first day? my baggage lock combination was changed!!! argh!!! i was so super irritated, cos all my stuffs were inside, and i couldn't change/bathe/do anything! i even had to borrow chuen's clothes :s so.. me & my new hsemates decided to go on "shifts" and figure out the combination. eg.

me 000-250
shiau cern 251-500
su chuen 501-750
steph 751-999

and yup, thank GOD for His amazing grace.. at 671 (Chuen's shift) it unlocked! thank God for housemates too!

the place we're staying in is really nice! but they're so strict. it makes us paranoid! hahaha.. it's like, don't touch the wall! don't spill ur drinks on the table. careful!!!! the sofa. cos the guy who briefed us seriously freaked us out!

Mr. S: u cannot stick anything on the wall, if we find any stains on it..
Us: *gulp*
Mr. S: we'll charge u for it. oh yeah, and don't iron on the carpet please! the previous student had to pay 600 to replace the carpet.
Us: *mouths wide opened*
Mr. S: and make sure u keep the place clean ok! we do spot checks.
Me: erm.. how often? what happens if it's not up to ur expectations?
Mr. S: well, it depends.. and if it's NOT up to OUR expectations.... we'll send the cleaners in
Me: *phew* (isn't that good?)
Mr. S: but we'll CHARGE you for it.
Us: ??!!!!

so ever since, we kept using the phrase "they'll charge us for it"!!
