- You're not expected to be ICU specialists. At least, you don't have to know how the ventilator works and the funny numbers that are associated with it. Ha!
- When in doubt, wash your hands.
- The tea room is the most important place (quite paradoxical really, because after all.. it's the coffee that matters!) -_-"
So that's what we learn on our first day in ICU. hehehe.. of course, they were just being nice (and cheeky). Intensivists are the nicest kinda doctors. I would say, they are the "Gold Standard". *happy sigh* i'm starting to like the RAH. i really am :)
Busy week ahead. but in for a good start :)

Hi . . . I was just so pleasantly surprised to see this blog. I came upon it when I typed in NICU for dummies. Ive been a nurse for many years but am new to the NICU. Ive been thru all the classes but still feel very intimidated by the more intense cases. But I am a believer in Christ and was so encouraged to see your boldness and obvious devotion and love for Him! God bless. Liz
