tripolar mood disorder! ta-daaa.. never heard of it hey? cos i created it minutes ago :P
have you ever met.. a person, who can be so mean one minute, apologizes+buy/make you coffee the next and then acts really goofy/cute after that? it's quite amusing really. haha..
ahh.. let me know when you have. i might do a case series on this. get my name published on a paper, and wa-laa.. it might even help me secure a place in surg too. wooHoo!
kidding.
i'm just quite annoyed that my whole day was kinda wasted.
the only substantial thing i did was pick up the reading materials for my next msa. looks full on! but yeah looking forward to respi under prof R. he's the best (trademark eyebrow raising)!
neuro ward has been extremely busy and it's hard to learn when there's only a reg and an intern taking care of 30+ patients.. i like to follow the stroke team though (although dr JJ makes me do a lot of reading, but i learn heaps! interesting stuffs at that too!). had this patient who came in with a large left mca cva (stroke). he has been very drowsy and non-rousable since the incident took place. the wife told me i could call him "chuk". he responds better that way. true enough.. i called "chuk" he opened his eyes, blinked when i asked him if he understands-he blinked, squeeze my fingers-he squeezed, move his legs if he could-he moved. ahh, the little joys in life.. a tear almost escaped my eyes. a few days later, he spiked a temp. things started going downhill from there :(
how fragile life can be.
and you wonder why people get caught up with the material things of this world. when all that matters is your relationship with God and people.
p/s: pictures coming up! slide.com takes forever to upload laahh...
