just this wk, bck in jb. i visited our only "decent" shopping complex. realized it
became > decent. haha.. i would say it's neat! cool! not bad for JB! haha.. even
the washroom is renovated (the downside - 50cents per entry) anyway, here's my
observation.. when u have a nicer environment to work in, u'll naturally work harder.
i was rather "tickled" when i saw the cleaners being so enthusiastic abt cleaning the
washroom. i mean, really! they were wiping the place over & over again. verdict: it works for all.. in a nice place, good ambience, automatically, one is motivated to do better.. so it is impt to reward ppl accordingly, and not deprive ppl.. even the bible says so in proverbs!

just completed my 2 day attachment at puteri specialist hospital. it was a good learning experience!! i got to see almost eveything we learned in cvs! from myocardial infarct, cardiac failure, deep vein thrombosis, infective endocarditis, mitral stenosis, regurg.. etc etc.. man.. i'm so blessed! i remember praying before going for the attachment. n indeed God is good! Thks Dr Yap! :)

and of course.. it's always good to be home! ;) so many birthdays in JULY. lemme just wish the july babies a very happy birthday!! to.... Evelynn (dearest ex roomy), Kenn Foong, Vickie, Aaron, Shangari............

the wonders of an afternoon nap

just awoken/awaken/got up (aghh.. grammar cmi!) from a nice & long nap.. 4 hours. haha.. i'm a piggy through n through. after church, went out with addy. had a good time of chatting & shopping arnd. somehow with that girl, i always end up buying something!!!! haha.. tried on some pretty nice clothes too.. but.. no.. refrain from buying. i'm running low in cash. (what else is new??) ele couldn't join us today, cos of father's day celebration.

svc was good today. herm.. but kinda like having an arrow through the bulls eye. God really speaks like straight.. *gulp*
but yeah.. gonna get my thinking sorted out n stuffs. yes.. n i remember to take my schedule this time arnd.. won't miss
practice. seems like the whole church knows abt it. hahaha..

last but not least.. Happy Father's Day... to my beloved PAPA, all the fathers arnd.. & especially to my Heavenly Father ;)
all these men in my life.. they play a significant role.. i love them so much. & God.. who never fails me. faithful despite my faithlessness.. thanks Abba..

i'm back!

~ Home sweet home ~

it's really good to be home. i think i haven't been bck for 3 mths! probably one of the longest i'm away from home.. heh, even in singapore i went bck quite often. let's see.. after not blogging for soo long! a lot of things happened (of courseZ) hehe..

i've started CVS (cardiovascular system) hmm.. one of my favourite. don't kn why, quite excited abt the start of system's course.the only drawback, lectures are in the evening.. -_-" but overall, better than foundation 2 la... foundation 2 was not very nice.. ugh.. glad it's over! hehe.. n i've made a personal statement to study more consistently now (i'm serious this time. remind me every now & then ;) hehe) but God has been good.. really. otherwise i wouldn't have been able to pull through. the amount of things going on.. whoa.. no possible way i could do it with my own strength.

i've recently started serving in the dance ministry too. quite karat already actually.. but i'm really glad i can serve Him in this area once again.

oh! yeah.. i went to klinik kesihatan nilai last wk. it was quite fun actually! (besides it being really ulu, as in the surrounding area) it was much better (& more productive) than Seremban GH. wouldn't say i learned a lot.. but then. it was an eye-opener. see how things work.. cool.
on the way to the train station, we had durians. all 6 of us. in our formal wear, by the roadside. haha.. it was a funny sight!! but memorable experience indeed. hehe..

this month calls for a revamp of my priorities & management of time.. i can put my hands into everything, n not excel in anything. which i believe is not God's calling for me.. i'll concentrate on a few things, n make sure i have time for God's work.

anyway.. hee.. this 2 wks.. have been a time of meeting up with my friends.. esp old friends! met huiting, meyling, huili, jer, elena, annjee, etc etc.. it's good to catch up.. and those who are bck/coming bck from uk.. looking fwd to that! :)

oh yes.. to the Sem5s who are having their EOS this monday.. Wishing ya the very best!!! U can do it ;) Sem 3s as well.. soon right?? Thinking of them.. makes me realize. heh, time passes really fast. Sem 5s will be leaving. will be my turn to be sem3, killer sem. but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!! yeah!

aha.. not a real hangover. just.. a wk of prep for summative results in a mentally tired christine. moral of the story, start ur revision early! hehe.. but on the other hand. i wasn't all that stressed. Thank God for that. it was a nice but weird feeling, knowing u're not that prepared, but u're not worried instead, there's this feeling of inner peace. only God can do it :)

don't know whether the juniors will agree with the theme or not? i'm quite sure i didnt when i was junior. haha.. master of puppets. even the theme sounds sadistic! ;) well, anyway, i survived mine! & i'm sure the juniors can too!!! yesterday it was like a 2nd orientation for me. the juniors were cleaner than me! i was cleaner even when i was junior. how on earth did this happen??? *ponders* anyway, hehe.. being senior is really a different feeling altogether, not so intimidated & vulnerable i guess.. i remember when i went for senior viva. i felt like an ant in the midst of giants!!!

haha.. monday - ice-breakers; tuesday - imcc in swimsuits; wednesday (tmr!!!) treasure hunt; friday - variety night; saturday telematch & bbq. whole wk filled!!! with so many things to dooo..
hmm, still have to see dr, send stuffs to mrs lim, i miss the clinic *sob sob* hafta come up with banner & backdrop together with hsemates. but i'm going bck nxt wk!!! ahhh.. rush rush rush. learn dance, teach dance, budget dance, do accounts.. go bck still got electives to do. philip's gonna kill me..

If you follow God's order, things will just fall in place. Don't complicate things. God's work on the cross was complete! He said it is finished! & that's what saves us.. that's what heals us! We love God because God first loved us. It has never been about what we did or have done or will do. It is by His grace that we can stand blameless.. I'm really pumped up for Jesus! :) i hope you are too *wink*

Yeak Ping Lian - Autistic Savant Child

Came across an article of this brilliant 11 year old boy in the newspaper.. A special child indeed.. & it shows how God gives different people different talents.. I applaud his supportive family.. Despite the consequence, they did not groan & murmur abt his "disability" but was quick to identify the cause and do something abt it.. and more importantly develop his artistic potential! I think there's something we can learn from this.. Don't let circumstances determine how you react.. always think.. W.W.J.D? I'm especially inspired by his mom, a widow, but yet.. so able! *respect* she's definitely a good role model.. ALthough Ping Lian is autistic, I believe he has touched lives, even through his paintings! :) one of his drawings was sold at RM100k for charity!
