hangover
aha.. not a real hangover. just.. a wk of prep for summative results in a mentally tired christine. moral of the story, start ur revision early! hehe.. but on the other hand. i wasn't all that stressed. Thank God for that. it was a nice but weird feeling, knowing u're not that prepared, but u're not worried instead, there's this feeling of inner peace. only God can do it :)

Love is in the Air - M1/05
don't know whether the juniors will agree with the theme or not? i'm quite sure i didnt when i was junior. haha.. master of puppets. even the theme sounds sadistic! ;) well, anyway, i survived mine! & i'm sure the juniors can too!!! yesterday it was like a 2nd orientation for me. the juniors were cleaner than me! i was cleaner even when i was junior. how on earth did this happen??? *ponders* anyway, hehe.. being senior is really a different feeling altogether, not so intimidated & vulnerable i guess.. i remember when i went for senior viva. i felt like an ant in the midst of giants!!!
haha.. monday - ice-breakers; tuesday - imcc in swimsuits; wednesday (tmr!!!) treasure hunt; friday - variety night; saturday telematch & bbq. whole wk filled!!! with so many things to dooo..
hmm, still have to see dr, send stuffs to mrs lim, i miss the clinic *sob sob* hafta come up with banner & backdrop together with hsemates. but i'm going bck nxt wk!!! ahhh.. rush rush rush. learn dance, teach dance, budget dance, do accounts.. go bck still got electives to do. philip's gonna kill me..

Jesus is our constant protection. He is our most valuable possession. The best protection against evil is a heart bent toward the good—seeking God in all things. Light does not fight with darkness. There is no wrestling match necessary. Light banishes darkness. They cannot occupy the same place at the same time.

If you follow God's order, things will just fall in place. Don't complicate things. God's work on the cross was complete! He said it is finished! & that's what saves us.. that's what heals us! We love God because God first loved us. It has never been about what we did or have done or will do. It is by His grace that we can stand blameless.. I'm really pumped up for Jesus! :) i hope you are too *wink*

Yeak Ping Lian - Autistic Savant Child
Came across an article of this brilliant 11 year old boy in the newspaper.. A special child indeed.. & it shows how God gives different people different talents.. I applaud his supportive family.. Despite the consequence, they did not groan & murmur abt his "disability" but was quick to identify the cause and do something abt it.. and more importantly develop his artistic potential! I think there's something we can learn from this.. Don't let circumstances determine how you react.. always think.. W.W.J.D? I'm especially inspired by his mom, a widow, but yet.. so able! *respect* she's definitely a good role model.. ALthough Ping Lian is autistic, I believe he has touched lives, even through his paintings! :) one of his drawings was sold at RM100k for charity!

what a week!!
after coming bck from broga camp....... well my parents came! aha.. haha, they wanted to bring me bck with them.. although i told them countless times my results are coming out on wednesdaY!! wahaha.. but good also la, miss them! hehe, in fact they're on their way to kl now to fetch the "gong ju" bck to jb :P teeheehee..
anyway, i finally got to see the dermatologist. u know how God is so evident even in little things like waiting for ur turn in the dr's office. i didnt have an appointment, so i just went in at 930. miraculously in half an hour i was called in.. all i did was pray for God's favour and *snap* that's it. usually walk in patient have to wait for 2-3 hrs & u shld see the amount of ppl in there!!!! isn't He amazing???
well that's not all.. i collected my results & praise the Lord!!! i passed :) better than i expected too.. it's really by God's grace!! hehe.. oh, this is my first time celebrating before collecting results because good ol' IMU just HAD to release the results at 5 pm. in the morning we went all the way to klang for bak kut teh!! haha.. then headed to midvalley to jln jln & watch movie!! phantom of the opera again *swoon* *faints* haha.. that's like the bestest movie yet!!! my 2nd time! haha.. n i had an extra special 4.0 surround sound system behind me :P hehe.. i myself keep humming the tune.. until evelynn was like!! 24 hrs d.. still singing?? aiyoh.. makes me wonder when will my "raoul" appear. hehehe.. anyway, the movie ended at 5!! haha.. after that we were all running all over the place, scrambling back to IMU to collect results. ahaha.. then after that the rest went to kajang for satay while me & my housemates went to have dinner at secret recipe. talk abt sinful!! 4 cheese cakes!!! (shared la, not so PIGGY) hehe!!
thursday met my cousin for lunch... only to realize, in 2 days!!!! i used up more than half a tank of petrol ~ 30 bucks! sot sot sot.. this mth really gone wayyyy over budget. yeah then headed over to pantai (eve's place).. then we went to scout arnd for ballet schools!! teeheehee.. yay!! can start my ballet classes again.. happiness :) n the price is reasonable!! we went to tmc to buy ingredients for baking. fetched chia mein, went to 1u to meet noel for dinner. noel's leaving for singapore soon (gonna be a pilot, WOW!) yeah.. we will miss u! haha.. dinner was fun.. a lot of catching up & stuffs! then we headed bck to rawang..
eve's place in rawang is really nice.. quiet & peaceful.. tastefully designed.. haha.. then we attempted to have our movie marathon! we bought the forgotten & vanity fair. the forgotten is ONE lousy movie.. seriously. vanity fair. hehe.. can't say much cos i fell asleep while watching it!! don't kn why that day so lao ya.. can't stay awake. i told eve it was her bedtime bath la!!! haha.. then nxt day went to eat briyani in bangsar.. quite nice, but expensive!! aiks~ then we sent chia mein bck to uni & headed bck to pantai to bake :) woo hoo....
brownies & banana caramel pudding.. yummy....... headed home after that.. another miracle. i prayed & ask God to show me which way to take.. cos both routes would've heavy traffic!! then i also prayed for smooth journey.. and so.. God once again brought me through. i reached setapak in half an hour which is really amazing!!!! traffic was flowing.. at peak hour!! 6+!! the best part, i took the route which i'm totally not familiar with.. God never fails to amaze me.... really...
hee.. slept at 5 yesterday!! so crazy.. that's all for now.. have a great weekend :) *hugs*

BROGA!!!
before i go on & on & on abt broga camp.. hehe.. announcement:

ok here in this blog u can rant, complain as much as u want abt pbl, n remain anonymous (don't la go & put ur name) & ur feedback & comments count cos this blog is set up by a faciliator. so feel free to post something on it. ok? thks.. end of announcement :P
OK OK OK..... & now... presenting.. (drumroll) Broga Camp. it's in this ulu place, in semenyih, kajang, in between selangor & negeri sembilan.. no phone coverage, no water (at one point in time), no water heater, no air-con, scorching sun. stripped off modern day conveniences! whoever thought we campers would have so much fun!!
although i was quite tired through out.. but yeah, it was a blast! first we got there.. played some ice breakers. then came the water rafting. at first we were like, huh? go rafting in that small little pond? hehe.. but anyway, our grp made a raft.. it was satisfying to see the end result. although i was quite sure i was bbq-ed well done at the end of it. but going into the water was uhh.. let's just put it this way, timing tak ngam :) oh well, our raft actually almost sank.. hehe.. it cracked. i guess i was too heavy? then we did outdoor cooking! & my team won.. so happy. hahaha.. our dishes were summer romance, double happiness, yin yang, wheel of fortune & buddha jumped into the river. so chinese new yr-ish. haha.. later in the night we played an auction game. hehe.. if creativity & entertainment was the main criteria, we would definitely win!! haha.. show u the picture to prove it :) agree hendrick??
nxt day we had flying fox, obstacle course, & high rope course. flying fox was the best.. enjoyed it the most.. the scenery up there was breathtaking.. isn't God a terrific artist?? after dinner.. we started this dance arnd the camp fire.. soon, everyone joined in. then we had cheers.. yup yup.. we ended saturday with a murder game. at the end of it, all of us were more or less exhausted.. i just konked on the bed n slept.. the sky on that night was beautiful.. clear. full of stars. kinda romantic, but too tired to really enjoy it. haha.. saw it with lay in on the way bck from brushing teeth! :)
on sunday it was just free time, to pack, debrief, prize-giving, followed by lots of photo-taking.. hehe.. i'll post some up once i get hold of the cable! during the camp.. we sang many songs.. played the guitar, played CARDS! haha.. magic tricks.. police & thief. mafia... aiyoh. i'm not a good killer.. the police seems to always kn it's me.. *sigh*
hehe.. anyway to sum it all up.. it was a CHILL out camp.. & it dared me to dream.. further.. LIVE.. haha.. promoting campus friends ;) i'm getting sleepy now.. goodnight for now!

just another day
realized that i haven't been blogging for quite awhile. haha.. or so it seems. i woke up real late today.. felt like giving myself a good whack for that. sigh.. didnt sleep well last night, must be the cold weather.. had a bad runny nose.. & since new yr's day a bad tummy.. so uncomfortable. anyway, today i managed to study haemato!! big whoop.. aha.. considering i went to "lunch"(that was what mummy said...) which ended up being a "car-scouting" trip.. but it wasnt too bad.. got to see a lot of nice cars..
oh yeah.. who wants to donate food to my tortoises? hehe.. my roomy just smsed me saying we're running low on food supply.. ;)
on a more serious note.. hmm, somehow, today i felt so much more for the tsunami victims.. especially those in acheh. i can't imagine if i were in their shoes.. that's why we shld really count our blessings. indeed, God has been so good to me.. & i thank Him for that.. it really makes u think abt life. n what it's really about. anyway.. i just pray that the survivors will be strong, & may the God of peace be with them.

I pray that I shall never see anything like this again in my life. But with hundreds of thousands dead and millions displaced, I really feel it is important that we take the time to give what we can. Every little bit counts... It just reminds me that the end is near.. & we should not just sit arnd & be complacent.. the harvest is out there.. waiting..

on a more serious note.. hmm, somehow, today i felt so much more for the tsunami victims.. especially those in acheh. i can't imagine if i were in their shoes.. that's why we shld really count our blessings. indeed, God has been so good to me.. & i thank Him for that.. it really makes u think abt life. n what it's really about. anyway.. i just pray that the survivors will be strong, & may the God of peace be with them.
